1. What CarrierMatch Is
CarrierMatch operates an online platform that helps customers discover transportation carriers based on pickup location, delivery location, cargo type, and preferred pickup date. CarrierMatch is an information and access platform. CarrierMatch does not itself provide transportation, moving, freight, or delivery services.
2. The $25 Contact Access Fee
When a customer selects a carrier listed on the platform, CarrierMatch charges a one-time fee of $25 to unlock that carrier's available contact information. This fee is paid solely in exchange for access to contact information. It is not a payment for transportation services, and it does not create a contract for transportation between the customer and CarrierMatch. The fee is not a subscription and does not recur automatically.
3. Direct Agreements Between Customers and Carriers
After a customer unlocks a carrier's contact information, the customer contacts the carrier directly. Any transportation price, pickup time, delivery window, insurance, loading and unloading arrangements, and other transportation terms are negotiated and agreed upon independently between the customer and the carrier.CarrierMatch is not a party to that agreement and is not responsible for its performance.
4. No Motor Carrier or Broker Authority
CarrierMatch does not hold, and does not claim to hold, authority as a licensed motor carrier or as a property broker under any federal or state regulation, including any authority issued by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). CarrierMatch does not arrange, dispatch, or take responsibility for the physical transportation of goods. Carriers listed on the platform are independent businesses responsible for maintaining their own applicable licenses, permits, and insurance.
5. Demo and Example Content
Certain carrier listings shown on this website, including those labeled "Example" or "Demo," are provided for illustration purposes only during this initial release of the platform. They do not represent real, currently available carriers or an offer of service.
6. Payment Processing
Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider. CarrierMatch does not store full payment card numbers.
7. Changes to These Terms
CarrierMatch may update these Terms of Service from time to time as the platform develops. Continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
